Sci-capture 2024 International Science Photo Contest
Sci-capture 2024 is an international science photo contest organized by the Sri Lankan Academy of Young Scientists (SLAYS) in collaboration with National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB), National Young Academy, Nepal (NaYAN), Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS), and Thai Young Scientists Academy (TYSA). This year’s contest will be celebrating the individuals who have dedicated their lives for the advancement of science and dissemination of scientific knowledge to a wider community.
The competition is open to students enrolled in bachelors, masters, and doctoral programs at a higher education institute by the time of submission deadline of photographs. Participants have to endorse their submissions by an authorized person from their higher education institute.
Categories
- Science Superheroes (portraits of people in science in their usual laboratory backgrounds)
- Microscopic images (Microscopic images of various materials and objects in laboratories and field)
- Disseminating scientific knowledge (Journalistic photographs from sessions of disseminating scientific knowledge)
- General category (All other photographs related to various branches of science, climate, nature, wildlife, astronomy, etc.)
