Most popular photographer – Second place Jinali Bhagya Rathnayake, Post Graduate Institute of Medicine, Colombo, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 For the submission titled “H ❤ E” The winner will receive an e-certificate.

Most popular photographer Labiba Islam Salsabil, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Bangladesh 🇧🇩 For the submission titled “Territorial disparity” The winner will receive a cash prize of USD 80 and an e-certificate.

Best photographer – Third place Nandun Chathuranga Manilgama, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 For the submission titled “Twilight tinkerer: Crafting dreams in the darkened garage” The winner will receive a cash prize of USD 30 and an e-certificate.

Best photographer – Second place Manish Kumar, CSIR- National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India 🇮🇳 For the submission titled “Sea of milk” The winner will receive a cash prize of USD 60 and an e-certificate.

Best photographer Abdur Rahman, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Bangladesh 🇧🇩 For the submission titled “Nature’s embroidery: A morning symphony of beauty and deception” The winner will receive a cash prize of USD 100 and an e-certificate.

Sci-capture 2024 International Science Photo Contest

Sci-capture 2024 is an international science photo contest organized by the Sri Lankan Academy of Young Scientists (SLAYS) in collaboration with National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB), National Young Academy, Nepal (NaYAN), Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS), and Thai Young Scientists Academy (TYSA). This year’s contest will be celebrating the individuals who have dedicated their lives for the advancement of science and dissemination of scientific knowledge to a wider community.

The competition is open to students enrolled in bachelors, masters, and doctoral programs at a higher education institute by the time of submission deadline of photographs. Participants have to endorse their submissions by an authorized person from their higher education institute.
